“At present, the amount of winter storage is not much, and the price is still high. In the middle of December, the overall steel price rose too fast. Recently, due to weak demand, the price has been adjusted to some extent, but it is still at a high level. The overall situation of winter storage depends on the subsequent market changes.” Wang Guoqing, head of Lange Iron and Steel Research Center, told reporters.
As for the following market situation, Ge Xin, deputy director of Lange Iron and Steel Research Center, believes that the daily crude steel output of China in December will remain at about 2.6 million tons, among which the daily crude steel output of key large and medium-sized steel enterprises will remain at about 2.1 million tons. It is expected that the domestic steel output will show a certain recovery in December.
