In terms of resistance to corrosion and high temperature performance, Stainless steel sheet is by far the best among common metal materials. By attending to various factors such as structure and properties, it can be divided into many categories according to different application needs.<\/p><p>302 Stainless Steel Sheet is an austenitic stainless steel with the highest resistance to corrosion for high temperature applications. Grade 302 stainless is the most rust resistant of all the available grades of stainless steel. In fact, it will not rust at all if combined with a small amount of carbon through heat treatment. This grade is used in saltwater and food processing plants where severe corrosion and pitting are a real problem. Stainless steel grade 302 will also resist sulfide stress cracking and crevice corrosion in chloride environments.
